TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • To commence production of your custom Eurosteel NZ doors or windows, a 70% deposit is required. This covers consultation, shop drawing design, and manufacturing.

Upon arrival of the ordered product in New Zealand, Eurosteel Ltd will offer the client (or their nominated installer) the opportunity to inspect the goods in person. Where an in-person viewing is not possible, Eurosteel Ltd will provide photographic and/or video confirmation of the completed product.

Following this confirmation, the remaining 30% balance becomes immediately due.Goods will not be released for installation, delivery, or collection until full payment has been received in cleared funds. Eurosteel Ltd reserves the right to delay installation or withhold delivery if the final balance remains outstanding.

Payment is due within five (7) business days. Delays beyond this period will incur daily storage fees, which will vary depending on the size and scope of the order.

Eurosteel Ltd maintains the exclusive right to adjust, amend, or request alternative deposit amounts or payment structures on a case-by-case basis at its sole discretion. Any such adjustments must be agreed to in writing and will supersede the standard deposit structure where applicable.

  • Eurosteel NZ offers professional installation services through our network of experienced installers. If you choose our installation option, we will coordinate the installation schedule, site access, and post-install support.

However, if you choose to use your own installer or builder, Eurosteel NZ takes no responsibility for incorrect installation, site measurements, or damages resulting from third-party work. It is essential your installer reviews the final signed-off shop drawings before beginning installation.

Should any product issues arise due to improper installation by others, we can refer you to a preferred installer for inspection and potential remedial work. All site visits and additional work by third-party installers will be quoted and invoiced directly to you, and Eurosteel NZ holds no liability for installation errors or resulting damage.

  • After you place your order, Eurosteel NZ will provide detailed CAD shop drawings. These must be reviewed and signed off by you or your installer before production begins. Once approved, we manufacture strictly to those specifications down to the millimetre.

It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of these drawings. We strongly recommend they be reviewed in detail by your builder or installer, as Eurosteel NZ is not liable for any discrepancies once drawings are approved.

  • All orders are manufactured according to the dimensions you or your builder provide. It is your responsibility to confirm these measurements with a qualified New Zealand professional prior to ordering. Eurosteel NZ is not liable for any incorrect measurements provided at time of order.

  • If you cancel your order after paying the deposit but before production begins, an administration fee of $1,500 + GST or 5% of the total order value (whichever is greater) will be deducted from your deposit refund. Credit card processing fees are non-refundable.

Once shop drawings are signed off and manufacturing has commenced, no refunds are permitted, and the full balance is payable upon completion.

  • When your order is ready for dispatch, we will contact you to arrange delivery. You must ensure the site is ready to receive the goods, as Eurosteel NZ does not offer storage services. Any warehouse storage fees incurred due to delays in accepting delivery will be added to your invoice.

Delivery is made to the front of the site only, in a safe, flat location. Drivers do not place crates into garages, laneways, or other internal site areas. You must be present or provide written authority to leave the crates. Missed delivery windows or redelivery will incur additional freight charges.

Crates must be kept dry and covered to preserve product condition and maintain warranty eligibility.

  • Before unpacking and installing, we strongly advise that you inspect all items while still in their original packaging. If any damage or defects are found, you must photograph them immediately. Claims made after installation or without supporting images from the time of unpacking will not be accepted.

Extended storage in wooden crates (with foam, plastic or glass adhesive still applied) is not advised. This can cause product damage and void your warranty.

  • All Eurosteel NZ products are handcrafted, which means small cosmetic imperfections in steelwork, welds, or paint are normal. Slight bowing in steel or frames may occur due to the nature of the materials used. These are within acceptable industry tolerances for handmade products.

Each item is unique, and minor visual inconsistencies are not considered defects. Any significant issues outside allowable tolerances, as determined by Eurosteel NZ, will be assessed and addressed under our New Zealand-based warranty guidelines.

  • Eurosteel NZ is not responsible for injury, damage, or death resulting from improper installation, misuse, or failure to follow proper handling procedures. This applies particularly to cases where installation is conducted by someone other than a Eurosteel NZ-appointed installer.
